Charles E. Conrad, 91, of Corydon, died Saturday, April 21, 2018, at his home near Corydon. He was born September 24, 1926, in Harrison County, Indiana, to the late Elmer and Edna Conrad. He was a farmer and a horse driver/owner/breeder, and was a member of the United States Trotting Association and the Indiana Standardbred Association.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Bernice Barksdale Conrad; his son, Donald E. Conrad; and his sister, Myrtle Dyer. Survivors include his son, Ronnie Conrad (Rita) of Corydon; his daughter-in-law, Roselea Conrad of Corydon; his grandchildren, Charlie Conrad (Sarah), Chris Conrad and Jennifer Frakes; and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Conrad, Chris Conrad, Jr., Carson Conrad, Carder Conrad, Madison Frakes and Molly Frakes. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon, with a graveside service to immediately follow the visitation at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

Pastor Betty Sieberns will officiate. The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the American Heart Association or New Vocations horse adoptions.
