Ethel “Lucille” Pitman, 96, of Ramsey, died Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana. She was born December 6, 1921, in Harrison County, Indiana, to the late Grover Alonzo and Flossie Fern Baxley Wiseman. She was a loving wife and mother and provided for her family as a homemaker and a farmer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Delbert Clarence Pitman; her daughter, Naomi Oppel; and her brother Louis V. Wiseman. Survivors include her son, Roger W. Pitman of Ramsey; her daughter, Judy Mothersbaugh (Keith) of Newburgh, Indiana; her son-in-law, Keith Oppel of Ramsey; and her grandchildren, Brian Oppel (Mandy), Carrie Oppel, Jason Mothersbaugh, and Amy Greer (Steve). Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2018, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

Rev. Rick Utz will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery near Corydon.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. Sunday and after 12:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Fairview Cemetery Fund. Pallbearers will be Brian and Mandy Oppel, Carrie Oppel, Jason Mothersbaugh, and Amy and Steve Greer.
