Dorothy Ann Wiseman, 82, of Corydon, died Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at Harrison Springs Health Campus in Corydon. She was born March 15, 1936, in Germantown, Illinois, to the late Nolan and Lilly Weedman Gilmore. She was the owner of the Bookworm bookstore in Corydon for over 20 years and was a member of Blue River Chapel United Methodist Church near Corydon.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Loran Jay Wiseman. Survivors include her daughters, Deborah Stepro (Jack) of Jeffersonville, Indiana, and Laurie Kirkham (Tony) and Donna Wiseman both of Corydon; her grandchildren, Jacob Kirkham (Elizabeth), Melanie Stepro and Dylan Kirkham; and her great grandchildren, Madoc Kirkham and Loran Kirkham. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 26, 2018, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

Rev. Jim Higdon will officiate. Burial will be in Blue River Chapel Cemetery near Corydon.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Blue River Chapel Cemetery.
