Larry E. “Doc” Simcoe, 58, of Corydon, died Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at his home near Corydon. He was born March 18, 1960, in Corydon, Indiana, to the late James and Elvina Mayfield Simcoe. He worked as an electrician at General Electric in Louisville, Kentucky.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy A. Saylor Simcoe; his son, Jeremy Simcoe of Corydon; his daughter, Rachel Cunningham of Corydon; his brothers, James “Butch” Simcoe and Dennis Simcoe both of Corydon; his sisters, Janet Pease (Jim) and Ann Clark both of Corydon; and his grandchildren, Spencer Smith and Brody and Kylie Cunningham. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2018, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Rev.

Larry Hensley will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 10:00 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the American Cancer Society. Pallbearers will be Michael and Christopher White, Dennis Simcoe, Jess Long and Jimmy Pease.
