Duane N. Yocum, 81, of Mauckport, died Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at his home in Mauckport. He was born July 14, 1937, in Laconia, Indiana, to the late Thurman and Olvie King Yocum. He was the owner of Yocum Logging Company, was a member of AA and was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Donald, Curtis, Charles and Garland Yocum; and his sisters, Bonnie Wathen, Ilene Yocum, Jessie Siepel, Mary Kershaw and Betty Kunz. Survivors include his son, Scott Yocum; his sister, Irene Strome; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins, including Kerry and Jeff Timberlake who cared for him. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 28, 2019, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Sunday and after 9:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to AA in Brandenburg, Kentucky .

Pallbearers will be Tony Timberlake, Kerry Timberlake, Jr., Bobby Kershaw, Jim Engleman and John Timberlake.
