Henry A. “Hank” Koons, 76, of Corydon, died Sunday, March 24, 2019, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana. He was born October 16, 1942, in Piqua, Ohio, to the late William Arthur and Stella Mae Draving Koons. He was an Auto Body Repairman, was a member of First Capital Christian Church in Corydon, and was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Betty Tinkham. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Janet L. Baxley Koons; his sons, Chuck Koons (Brandy) of Georgetown, Indiana and Michael Koons (Sally) of Corydon; his daughter, Brandie Byrne (Kyle) of Ramsey, Indiana; his brother, Robert “Bob” Koons (Sue) of Georgetown; his sister, Dorothy Jones of Bradford, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Skylar, Tristin, Kylie, Kellsie, Aubrey, Caden and Ryleigh. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
