Obituary for Charles E. Johnson JOHNSON – Charles E. Of East Aurora, September 30, 1918 – April 20, 2018. Husband of 74 years to Doris Proud Johnson; father of Howard (Karen), Susan (Jeff), and Margaret (Danny); grandfather of seven and great-grandfather of eight. Charles worked as a chemical engineer, and upon retirement he planted an apple orchard.

A proud veteran, he served as a Navy pilot during and after WWII. Services will be held on Friday, April 27th, 2 pm at Baker Memorial Methodist Church, 345 Main St., East Aurora. Services by COMFORT FUNERAL HOME, Inc. Donations may be made to Hospice of WNY or Baker Memorial Methodist Church.
