Charles Edward Donaldson, 63, of Springfield passed away Friday, March 22, 2019 following several years of failing health. He was born December 19, 1955 in Norton, VA the son of Charles and Calanthe (Daniels) Donaldson and had been a Springfield resident for the past 21 years. Charles had worked in construction for many years in South Carolina, and had been the Manager at McDonalds on South Limestone Street in Springfield.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years Ramona (White) Donaldson; four children Doug Blair, Amos Eugene White, Mildred Nicole Flores and Nicholas Donaldson; four sisters Princess Blair, Vendetta Gulley, Faye and Gaye Blair; numerous grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. He is preceded in death by his sister Ruthie Mae Rogers and a brother Hart Blair. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
