Charles Eldon Mock, 88, Johnstown, died May 15, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 19, 1930 in Weyant, son of Wade and Sue (Benton) Mock. Preceded in death by parents; Uncle Barney and Aunt Anna Mock, who raised him; sister, Opal Corle; and brothers, Emil and Guy Mock, and Dale Ickes.

Survived by wife, Belva (Claycomb); and children, Daniel (Sherri Kinsey), Bear Creek; Elizabeth (Earl Tressler), Johnstown; Melanie (Rick McVicker), New Paris; Carol Ann (Scott Parsons); Westminster, MD; and Sharon (Larry Stoner), East Berlin; grandchildren, Ann Katheryn, Sara, Christopher, Katie, Kelly, Eric, Matthew, Anna, Jesse, Laura, Emily, Tyler, and Rachel; 8 great grandchildren; and cousin, Betty (Mock) McMurray. He was a member of Elton Zion United Methodist Church for many years, where he served as Sunday School Superintendent and Lay Leader. He was a retired meat cutter from Giant Eagle.

Eldon was a USMC Sergeant having served during the Korean Conflict. He served his God. He served his country.

He served his family. And the Lord said, Well Done. Amen.

Friends received 3-7PM Friday and 10AM until the time of service at 11AM on Saturday at Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St. Pastor Daryl Penrod will officiate. Interment, Mock Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Elton Zion UM Church or Shining Stars Therapeutic Ministries, 3185 York Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
