Charles Everett Huffmaster, 85, passed away Sun. May 20, 2018 at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Wed.

May 23, 2018 from 9am-10:45am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 11am on Wed. May 23, 2018 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS.

Graveside Services will be held at 2pm on Wed. May 23, 2018 at Long Creek Baptist Cemetery in Meridian, MS. Mr. Huffmaster was born in Meridian, MS on Oct.

4, 1932 to the late Charles Oliver Huffmaster and Beatrice Murff Huffmaster. He was a longtime resident of Jackson, MS where he was an active member of Van Winkle Baptist Church from 1966-2003 and was currently a member of Wildwood Baptist Church. Mr. Huffmaster served his country in the U.S. Army from Dec.

1950 – July 1952, graduated Mississippi State University in 1959 and was employed with Miller Transporters from 1960-1993. Mr. Huffmaster enjoyed coaching his son in baseball and his daughter with softball and basketball. He made an impact on many lives and will be greatly missed.

Mr. Huffmaster is survived by his wife, Barbara Huffmaster; three children, Dorothy Devange Arnold, Charles Ike Huffmaster (Cheri) and Angela Beatrice Hudson (Mike); sister, Delores Lawrence; brother, James Richard Huffmaster (Lois); three grandchildren, Joshua Micah Arnold (Cassie), Brittany Huffmaster and Jonathan Ike Huffmaster; two great grandchildren, Micalyn Arnold and Alayna Arnold, and many nieces and nephews.
