Age 84. Companion of 51 years to the late Jennie Marie Scoleri (nee Monteith).

Father of Rosemarie Wasilitz (Joseph), John Scoleri (Gayle), Patricia Clark (Thomas), William Scoleri (Betty), Dante Scoleri (Kim), and Thomas Scoleri (Valerie). Grandfather of 11, and great-grandfather of 13. Also survived by his neighbors and close friends, Joe Santora & Barb Hadik, and his fur-baby “Smokey”.

Born in Camden and raised in Clementon, Chuck has been a resident of Franklinville since 1958. He proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War as a technician in the 5th Missile Battalion, 6th Artillery Regiment. Chuck worked for 25+ years as a boilermaker for Penn Jersey Boiler in Pennsauken until his retirement in the early 1990s where he was affectionately known as “Peanut”.

In his younger years, he did small engine repair for lawnmowers, and later in life, he bought and sold watches that he had repaired. Chuck enjoyed fishing, especially on the boat he rebuilt with his dad, and enjoyed spending summers at their summer home on Laurel Lake where they liked to water ski. He loved seeing the dolphins on his frequent Cape May Whale Watching trips and visiting Sunset Point to see the sunset with Jennie.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday, January 28, 2019, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312. Funeral service at 11:00. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hurffville.
