CHARLES L NICHOLSON SR. Mr. Charles L. Nicholson, Sr. “Bud” was born in Hennessey, Oklahoma to the union of Charles S. Nicholson and Ida C. Williams. He was preceded in death by both parents, his wife, Harrietta and son, Charles Nicholson, Jr. Charles was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.

He received his formal education in Kansas City, Missouri and served in the United States Army. Our beloved Charles departed this life on February 16, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Charles loving memory will be cherished by his seven sons, Louis, Gary (Nettie), LeRoy (Berta) of Kansas City, Kansas, Marion (Brenda) of Dallas, Texas, Robert, LaVay of Wichita, Kansas and Paul; four daughters, Patricia, LeVetta (Rudy)Locke, Kathryn Rentie, Ida (Robert) Cheffen; one brother Louis Nicholson and a combined total of 250 grand, great, and great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, March 4, 2019 at Watkins Heritage Chapel. Visitation 11:00 A.M. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery.
