Charles R. Lippitt Kearney Resident Charles R. Lippitt, 53, of Kearney passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at CHI Health-Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Living Faith Fellowship Church in Kearney. Pastor Duane Osnes will officiate.

Inurnment will be held at a later date. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home in Kearney. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.

Charles Lippitt was born on July 30, 1965 in Denver, Colorado to Robert and Joan (Kadlecek) Lippitt. He worked for Thurston Heating and Air for several years. He later owned and operated Lippitt Home Improvement.

His hobbies included camping, boating, fishing and hunting. He loved racing and barbequing and spending time with his family. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Jennifer Kissee and her husband, Archie, Alexandria Slocumb and her husband, Sam, both of Kearney, Brandon Chase of Pooler, Georgia, Kalei Freeland and her husband, Tyler of Loomis, Robert Lippitt of Kearney, Austin Hartley of Omaha, Dominique Vasquez and Rylea Lippitt, both of Kearney; mother, Joan Lippitt of Byers, Colorado; grandchildren, Chanea, Julian, Bayden, Carter, Adrien, Tayleigh, Jaxtyn, Hunter and Amaia; brothers, Chip Landau of Denver, Colorado and Doug Lippitt of Byers, Colorado; special friends, Shannon Lippitt, Tiffany Schroeder, Lacey Lewis and Nikki Reicheneker; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
