Charlie Allen 1948-2018 Charles McKee “Charlie” Allen, 69, passed away May 8, 2018 at his home in Panguitch, Utah. He was born on August 15, 1948 in Panguitch to Samuel Earl and Mary Loraine Allen. He attended the LDS Business College where he met Connie Commons.

He married Connie in 1968 and together they had two children, Kenny and Clint Allen. They later divorced. He has served on the Panguitch City Council.

Charlie and his family ranched as well as owned and operated several local businesses during his life. He worked many years at Bryce Canyon doing many different jobs. One of his favorites was driving the shuttle bus for the Park Service where he met and made friends from all over the world.

Charlie had a one of a kind sense of humor and a quick wit. He loved and cherished the time spent with his friends and family. Charlie loved his family and had a special relationship with all of them.

He had a loving and big heart. Charlie battled diabetes throughout his adult life and at the time of his passing was undergoing dyalsis. He is survived by his mother, Loraine; his two sons: Kenny Allen, Panguitch; Clint (Amber) Allen, Georgia; grandchildren: Sierra, Harleigh (Nick) Coles, Abigail, Samuel, Kenzie, and Jackson; great-grandchildren: Chloe, Kell, and Camden Coles.

Charlie was preceded in death by his brother, Rodger Earl Allen. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at 11:00 in the Panguitch 2nd Ward Chapel, 150 North 300 East in Panguitch, where friends may call to visit with the family on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30. Burial will be in the Panguitch Cemetery.
