Charles R. Moran Age 92, of Robinson Twp. , passed peacefully on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. Beloved husband of Norma Jean; loving father of Cheryl Fairbairn (Bill), Janice Parrish (Richard), Karen Moran, Sandra Austin (Dan) and Terri Moran (Heather); also survived by ten grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Charles enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid sports fan. He was instrumental in starting Girls Softball in Robinson, of which he was a coach for many years. Mr Moran was a fire sprinkler installer with local union # 542.

He proudly served with the US Navy during WWII and was a Purple Heart recipient. Family will receive friends 2-4 & 6-8 PM TUESDAY at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC. , 334 Forest Grove Rd.

, Kennedy Twp. , where transfer prayers will be offered 10:45 AM WEDNESDAY, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church at 11:30 AM. Burial to follow with US Navy Military Honors at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
