OBITUARY Charles R. Paris Jr. March 15, 1936 – December 28, 2018 Charles R. Paris Jr., 82, passed away Friday morning, December 28, 2018 at his home. Born in Lynchburg, Virginia on March 15, 1936, he was the son of Charles Rufus Paris and Mary Watt Bullock Paris. Mr. Paris was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church and the American Legion.

He was a veteran of the US Air Force and the Air National Guard. Charles retired as an examiner for North Carolina state chartered credit unions. Survivors include his wife, Linda Paris; a daughter, Jennifer Paris; 3 sons, Timothy Paris and wife, Brantlee, Nathan Paris and Andrew Paris and wife, Sue; a brother, George Paris, a sister, Mary Templeton and husband, Bill; 6 grandchildren, Madison Paris, Amanda Paris, Amber Paris, Mary Paris, Sarah Dornbusch and Elizabeth Dornbusch; and a sister-in-law, Ann Paris.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Charlsey Paris and 2 brothers, Benjamin Paris and Walter Paris. Friends may visit Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Wilson Funeral & Cremation Service, 5301 Albemarle Road, Charlotte, NC 28212 from 1 to 2 pm. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor John Harrill officiating.
