“Tommy” Steele LEXINGTON – Funeral Services for Charles Thomas “Tommy” Steele, 68 will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at First Baptist Church, 415 Barr Road, Lexington SC 29072 with interment to follow in Steele Family Cemetery, Lexington. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm – 8:00pm, Tuesday April 24, 2018 at Barr Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. “Tommy” was born May 3, 1949 in his Grandmother’s living room in Lexington County.

He passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018 in the loving arms of his children. He was the son of Willie-Mae Steele and the late Charles Richard Steele. “Tommy” was predeceased by his wife Bonnie Day Steele.

He is survived by his children, Dale Steele (Amy), Melissa Steele Lam (Matthew), of Lexington; 4 grandsons, Brandon and Austin Steele, Andrew Watts and Kyle Lam; 2 granddaughters, Samantha Watts and Holland Lam; brothers, Wayne, Gene Ray, Bruce and Karl all of Lexington; sisters, Barbara Brooks of Aiken and Darlene Coursey of Lexington. “Tommy” is also survived by his best friend, beloved pet, Buddy. “Tommy” was the proud owner of Shuler Plumbing, Inc for 25 years.

The family wants to extend their appreciation for Brooke Noteboom, Dr. Marshall and his nurse Allison and Sue Steele for the wonderful care given to “Tommy” and his family.
