Charles W. Rudy Jr., age 74 of Maplewood, passed away Friday, November 9, 2018 at Ohio Living Dorothy Love. He was born July 11, 1944 in Bellefontaine, Ohio to father Charles W. Rudy Sr. and mother Catherine (Rickey) Rudy who preceded him in death. He married Pamela North Rudy on July 9, 1966 and she survives.

Charles is survived by children Charles W. Carrasco-Rudy III (Miguel) of Brooklyn, NY, and Timothy Andrew Rudy (Stephanie) of Kissimmee, FL. He was preceded in death by one brother, one sister, and one son. Charles retired from Ohio Department of Transportation after 33 years of faithful service.

He was a member of Fairlawn Alumni Association and graduated Fairlawn High School in 1962. He was a member of IUTUS. He was a 1967 graduate of Ohio State University with a degree in Civil Engineering.

He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed collecting all kinds of Ohio State football paraphernalia. Family and friends may call casual-dress viewing Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Adams Funeral Home.

Services will be held Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM with interment to follow at Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to IUTUS in Charles’ memory. Condolences may be expressed online at theadamsfuneralhome.com.
