Janet Eleanor (Mathews) Schwartz, 80 of Fort Lauderdale, FL formerly of Anna passed from this life into God’s Kingdom, Monday, December 17, 2018 after accepting Christ as her Savior. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don, of 48 years. She is survived by her son, Scott, daughter, Lisha, her grandchildren, Craig, David (Jill), Lindsey and 3 great-grandchildren as well as 2 sisters, Elaine and Loretta (Ed) and her especially loved nephew, Tony (Kelli).

Janet wasn’t one to follow convention but rather, with her husband’s support, sought her way in the corporate world by working first at Amos Press in advertising and then as the HR Director with FirstStar Bank (now US Bank). Janet loved spending time with family & friends & spent several years volunteering with Special Olympics. At Janet’s request, there will be no formal service.

The family requests in lieu of flowers or gifts that all that knew and loved Janet to celebrate her precious life by loving and giving to those God has put in your path.
