OBITUARY Charline Gloria Jackson December 20, 1925 – September 15, 2018 Charline Gloria Jackson, born December 20, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan. Died September 15, 2018 in Los Angeles. Charline moved to Los Angeles with her family when she was eight, but returned to Michigan for college, where she earned a B.A. in Art & Architecture at University of Michigan.

Upon graduation, she came back to Los Angeles where she worked as an executive secretary at MGM Studios for several years, in addition to being a painter. She met her soon-to-be husband, David, on the slopes of Mammoth and they were married a year later. After several years at home, raising her son, Andrew, she began working at LACMA, in charge of loaning museum pieces to corporations for exhibit.

They moved to Lighthouse Point, Florida in 1978, where she was a member of the watercolor society and an avid tennis player. In 1995 they returned to California and split their time between homes in Pacific Palisades and Lighthouse Point. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, David, son Andrew and grandchildren Devon, Connor and Blythe.
