Charlotte’s Obituary Charlotte Anne Taylor was born February 21, 1923 in El Dorado, KS to Charles I and Zelma (Warner) Wagner. She had two brothers, Robert and Charles. Her mother’s family was one of the first families to settle in the Cleveland, OH area in the early 1800s with connections to William Brewster, a pilgrim on the Mayflower, Queen Anne Bolelyn of England, and William the Conqueror.

She married Earl T. Green 15 June 1941 on the eve of World War II. To this union were born Nancy, Earl T II, Clair Charles (who died at birth), David and Jimmy Clair. After this marriage ended in divorce, she married L Z Taylor in 1963.

Charlotte loved to garden, and her homes had many trees and flowers and vegetable gardens. She was always canning what she grew, and her children reaped the benefit. She is survived by her children, Earl and Susan Green of Rapid City, SD, David Green, Jimmy and Barbara Green of CA; grandchildren, Dean Dancer, Vivian Vaughn, Patrick Green of Tacoma, WA,, Christine Kuehl and family of Springfield, MA, Elizabeth James and family of Martinsburg, WV, Michael Green and family of Rapid City, SD, Andrew Green and Rachel Kitchens of CA, many great grandchildren and a brother, Charles and Merle Wagner.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Clair, daughter, Nancy, granddaughter, Joanne Dancer and a brother, Robert Wagner Family hour will be from 6-8:00 PM on Sunday February 10th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma. A chapel service in honor of her life will be at 2:00 PM Monday February 11th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel with Rev. Dr. Virginia Espinoza officiating.

Burial will follow at the Pigeon Roost Cemetery in Boswell, Oklahoma with Dean Dancer, Jim Green, Charles Wagner, David Rice and Pat Espinoza as her pallbearers, David Green and Butch Green will be her Honorary Pallbearers. Family and friends are invited to visit our Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home website www. holmescoffeymurray.com to leave messages of condolences for Taylor family.
