OBITUARY Charlotte Teresa Scott October 30, 1950 – January 30, 2019 Charlotte Teresa Scott, 68 of Ocean Isle Beach died Thursday January 30, 2019 at her home. Mrs. Scott was born in Gaston County, NC on October 30, 1950 and was the daughter of the late James Monroe Sherrill Sr. and Elizabeth Eleanor Dilling Sherrill. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Doug Scott; two brothers, James M. “Butch” Sherrill Jr. and Ricky M. Sherrill.

She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church where she served as church secretary. She is survived by a son, Marcus James Scott of Conway, SC; a daughter, Tracy M. Fernandez and husband Jesse of Ocean Isle Beach; two sisters, Linda Calloway of Ocean Isle Beach and Kathy Jean Gettman of Bolivia and seven grandchildren, Alex Scott, Kelsey Scott, Felisha Fernandez, Douglas Fernandez, Sophie Scott, Cristal Fernandez, Kaiden Fernandez. Funeral services will be held Saturday February 9th 2019 at eleven o’clock in the morning at Lighthouse Independent Baptist Church, 1450 Old Ocean Highway, Bolivia with Pastor Robert Lucas officiating.

Pallbearers will be. Jesse Fernandez, Cody Jones, Shane DeMatties, Timmy DeMatties, Paul Holden, Maurice Lewis. Honorary Pallbearer will be Shawn Robbins.

Entombment will be private. Friends are invited to a time of visitation with the family on Friday February 8th, 2019 from six o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening at White Funeral Service, 3660 Express Drive, Shallotte In lieu of customary remembrances the family request memorials be directed to Lighthouse Independent Baptist Church, 1450 Old Ocean Highway, Bolivia, NC 28422.
