Obituary for Cherryll Tenney Cook Cherryll Tenney Cook, 85, of Mesa, Arizona passed away Friday, July 20, 2018 at Banner Gateway Hospital in Mesa, due to many health compilations. She was surrounded by her family who loved her very much. Cherryll was born at Yavapi County Hospital in Prescott, Arizona, June 22, 1933 to William Delbert and Annie Wilkins Tenney.

She grew up in Prescott, Flagstaff, Winslow, Clarkdale and Graduated from Cottonwood High School. She was a devoted lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved music, family, genealogy, church friends, leading the choir in church, crocheting blankets for grandchildren and spending time with those she loved.

She was an active member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers in Arizona. Cherryll is a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister and dear friend, she is survived by her children, Cheri Petersen, of Tulsa, OK, Cari (Dale) Dunlap of Vernal, UT, Cami (Russell) Williams of Mesa, AZ, Carla (Ron) Miller of Okmulgee, OK, Theron (LaDonna) Cook of Mesa, AZ, Colette (Doug) Cole of Mesa, AZ. Surviving Stepchildren Cathy (Jim) Crossley of Caldwell, ID, David (Jeanie) Cook of San Antonio, TX, Jim (Roberta) Cook of Homedale, Idaho, John (Jennifer) Cook of Nampa, ID, Carolyn (David) Smith of Mesa, AZ, Paula (Tracy) Olson of Mesa, AZ, Rick (Stephanie) Nielsen of Mesa, AZ, Janice (Charlie) Standage of Mesa, AZ, Tammy Swanson of Mesa, AZ, Melody (Steve) Rowley of Mesa, AZ; 34 grandchildren, 46 step grandchildren, 109 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; her Sister JoAnne Tenney Boyd of Gilbert, AZ; many nieces and nephews and extended family whom she loved and will miss her.

She was preceded in death by her Husband and Sweetheart Bill Cook; her parents, William Delbert and Annie Wilkins Tenney; her daughter Cara Lynn (Jim) Probst ; her Stepson, Robert Cook; her Brothers Eugene Delbert Tenney and Gale Wear Tenney. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the LDS church located at 1483 North Driftwood, Gilbert, Arizona 85234. Family will visit with family and friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
