Cheryl was born August 31, 1956 in Chicago. She passed away peacefully April 25 in Waukegan with her loving family by her side. Cheryl is survived by her husband of 43 years, Jim; children, Jillian (Ryan) Foszcz, James II (Kourtney) Murray, Jaclynn (Andrew) Nance, and Justin Murray; grandchildren, Savannah, Lucas, and Scarlett Foszcz, and Troy Nance; siblings, Patricia (Virgil) House, Michael (Christine) Galichio, and Christopher Galichio.

She was preceded in death by her parents Rocco and Laverne Galichio. Visitation will be 3-9pm Sunday, April 29 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 941 S. Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11am Monday April 30 at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.

There will be visitation at the church from 10am until the mass. Burial will follow in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Chery’s name may be made to Kays Animal Shelter, 2705 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
