Cheryl Lynn (Sherry) Doyle Brown passed away Wednesday May 15, 2019 at her home in Conway, South Carolina with her husband, Don and daughter Amanda, at her side after a battle with lung, brain, and spinal cord cancer. She was born on October 19, 1956 in Pittsburgh, PA. , the daughter of Michael William Doyle and Jo Ann Mollahan Doyle.

On April 23, 1997 she was married to Donald E. Brown in Ringold, Georgia. They resided in Marietta, Ohio before moving to Conway, South Carolina in 2014. Sherry’s career was vast and varied.

She worked for several years as an administrative assistant for Delta Airlines Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. After moving to Ohio, she worked as administrative assistant for Selby General Hospital in Marietta. She also worked in the mental health field and with Buckeye Hills.

She was a licensed Real Estate agent in Ohio, West Virginia, and South Carolina. She thoroughly enjoyed every job she ever had, especially working in real estate. Survivors include her husband Don of Conway, her daughter, Amanda Flack of Conway, and son Lee Flack of Douglasville, Georgia; also, stepchildren Lori Douglass (Brian) of Fleming, Ohio and Donnie Brown (Julia) of Marietta, Ohio; grandchildren, Austin Keliher of Phoenix, Arizona, Tymberleigh Keliher of Hartsell Alabama; step grandchildren, Madison, Erynn, Abigail, Nolan, Trey, Kennedy, and Tiegan; sisters, Tammy Doyle of Lewisberg, Tennessee and Jody Ruth (Thomas) of Belpre, Ohio; brother, Justin Doyle of Florida; nieces, Tara, Tracey, and Tessa; and numerous cousins.

She is also survived by special friends, Susan Snyder, Susie Huxley, Gerri Comber, Mary Ann Greenwell, Lisa Wagner, Erika Hall, Warren and Kim Wood, Jean Eschelman, and very, very special “adopted” granddaughter Lilly Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Michael Doyle, and brother-in-law, Ron Brown. As per her wishes, she will be cremated.

Grand Strand Funeral Home in Murrells Inlet is handling the arrangements. A celebration of life will be held in Marietta, Ohio at a later date. Special thanks to Tidelands Community Hospice, nurses Audrey and Kim, all the aides that provided care, and Chaplain Harrison Gray of Tidelands for his prayers and kind words.
