Ms. Cheryl L. Myers, 57, of Hagerstown, MD passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019 in Doey’s House, Hagerstown. Born November 1, 1961 in Hagerstown she was the daughter Ned E. and Edith A. “Edie” (Tracy) Myers of Chambersburg, PA. She lived her early life in the Greencastle, PA area.

She was a graduate of the Greencastle Area Senior High School with the Class of 1979. Cheryl then went on to obtain an associate’s degree in communication from the University of Maryland. Cheryl was employed for the Bureau of National Affairs, Rockville, MD in telecommunications for several years.

She was an avid Baltimore Ravens football fan, as well as a big fan of the Bay City Rollers band. Cheryl loved her family more than anything, and will be remembered as a loving daughter, mother, nana, and sister. In addition to her parents she is survived by three children, Monica Mills and her husband Ryan of Greencastle, Simone Byrd and her husband Jonathan of Hagerstown, and Elijah Bowens of Hagerstown; six grandchildren, Morgan, Braylynn, Levi, Conor, Luca, and Kurt; a brother, David Myers and his wife Tina of Walkersville, MD; a sister, Kecia Gearhart and her husband Brian of Shippensburg, PA; and seven nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held, 11:00 A.M., Friday, March 15, 2019 in the Miller-Bowersox Funeral Home, 521 S. Washington Street, Greencastle, PA with Pastor Milton Herrold officiating. There will be no public viewing however; the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Friday morning in the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.
