Obituary for Chester Leon Chester Leon, age 89 of Madison Heights, Michigan passed away on May 8, 2018 at Arden Court, Sterling Heights, Michigan. He was born on May 1, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan to Michael and Mary Leonowicz. Husband of Suzanne “Suzy” Leon.
He is preceded in death by his son, Michael Leonowicz. He is survived by his children, Jerry (Debra) Leonowicz, Jeff (Miki) Johnston, Linda Leonowicz-Earl, John (Pam) Johnston, Richard Leonowicz and Rita Leonowicz. Grandfather of 9 and Great-Grandfather of 9.
Chester was a Korean Veteran, retired journeyman tool and die maker for Chrysler. He loved to bowl, fish, play golf and watch sports. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 10th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm and the Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 11th at 10:00 am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block North of 13 Mile Road, West side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan.
