Chester Thomas Fryer, age 98, passed away March 11, 2019, in Indianola, Iowa. Chester was born June 1, 1920, in Council Bluffs, to the late Thomas and Ida Beck Fryer and grew up in Council Bluffs, graduating from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1939. After high school, Chester enlisted in the Army Air Force where he served until the end of World War II.

Chester was united in marriage to Marjorie Virginia Ellis Fryer on May 4, 1941; their 78th anniversary would have been this May.
