Chiquita Marva Zodelle Corbin December 29, 1940 – May 04, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Chiquita Marva Corbin, age 78, of Auburn, Kentucky passed peacefully at her home on Saturday, May 4, 2019. She was born in on December 29, 1940 at the Essig homestead farm in Cottonwood County, MN. She is the only child of Leslie Emmert Forsyth and Magdalyn (Essig) Forsyth.

On July, 1958, she was united in marriage to Gary Corbin at the EUB Redrock Country Church near Jeffers, MN. They have four children: Veronica, Cambi, Jamon and Tasha. To describe her and her passions, we would say she was a: family loving, Jesus following, joke cracking, spice loving, bible reading, prayer warrior, bargain shopping, music listening, camper traveling, garden growing, recipe reading, fashion following, seafood eating, shih-tzu snuggling, grandkid adoring , and appetizer tasting kind of gal.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Cambi. Chiquita is survived by her husband of 60 years Gary Corbin; daughter Veronica (Mark) Anderson of St. Cloud, MN; son Jamon (Melissa) Corbin of Bowling Green, KY; daughter Tasha Corbin of Auburn, KY; three grandchildren; Easton Robert May, Baylor Corbin May and Jordan Lee Ann Corbin and one great granddaughter; Ally Rae Summers. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. in the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with Bro.
