She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Deliverance Temple Church of God In Christ in Alton, IL. Chireka attended the Alton Public Schools and graduated from Alton Senior High; she was employed at Olin Corporation for many years.

She enjoyed bingo and spending time with family. Chireka departed this life on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at SSM St. Louis University Hospital with her family by her side. She is preceded in death by; Grandparents Abe Lewis & Annie Bell Barham, Lawrence and Lorraine Miller; Uncles Harvey & Anthony Barham, James Teague & Robert and Jean Teague, Alfred Miller; Aunts Carolyn Koontz & Helen Miller Left to cherish her memories are her children Rae’Idazhinia Davis, Armonte’ Miller, Chadreauna Davis, Chasity Davis, La-Briya Miller, Julian Hunt, Antonio Miller, Jr, Aiyana Marie Miller; sisters Chela Miller- TX, Consuela Barham – IL, Constance Greer – DC; brothers Antonio Sr. & Jeremiah Miller – TX, Joshua L. Miller – IL and Anthony Greer – MO; grandson Demetrez Cunningham, Jr.; Aunt Faye Barham who loved her as her own; a Special friend Taliyah Prayer, Special cousins Jocelyn & Michael & Kendell Barham, Maetisha Watley, Special niece Joshell Miller, Godson Matthew Baskin along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Father is God’s foundation on which the family rests, and thru All stress and trouble, he is calmly at his best. With Tots thru teens, he quietly just works and makes his plans. His love for their dear mother makes their children more his fans.

Each child is fairly listened to, and each is giv’n a lift. And his Reward from God is this – that FAMILY becomes father’s gift!
