Obituary for Chris Folkers Chris Folkers, 57 of Merriam, Kansas, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018. Born in Brooklyn, NY. He grew up in River Vale, NJ and resided in Kansas since 1994.

Beloved husband of Debbie Folkers, loving father of Kristen and spouse Paul Sweder, and Derek Cunningham. Grandfather to Aiden, Wyatt, Paige, Connor, Siarah and Tyler. Brother of Eric and wife Joanne, Richard and wife Wendy, and Kurt.

He had many nieces and nephews that loved and adored him. He always had a way of making everyone laugh and was his own person and did everything in his own way. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Chris was able to help many others through tissue and cornea donation. Celebration of his life will be held at All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church, 4501 Walnut St, Kansas City, MO on Friday December 14th at 6:00 pm.
