Obituary for Christian Lanceta Dichoso CHRISTIAN LANCETA DICHOSO, 21, of Louisville, KY, passed away Saturday, November 3rd. Christian was born in Louisville, KY to Cleo and Cynthia Dichoso on September 13, 1997, and was a graduate of Eastern High School. Christian studied as a Criminal Justice major and Political Science Minor at Northern Kentucky University.

He was employed by the United States Homeland Security in the Transportation Security Agency and was heralded as a role model amongst his peers. Christian was an alumnus of the JROTC program at Eastern High School and completed a semester of Army ROTC during college. He was an active member of his fraternity “Theta Chi” and the Student Government Association at NKU.

Christian took pride in all that he did and a deep love for his family and friends. He was close to the dozens of cousins, aunts, and uncles in his family and was proud of his Filipino heritage. Often referred to as “Jet Li” by friends, Christian was always filled with energy and passion.

He loved to dance, he loved to make people smile, and his laughter will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Christian is survived by the many cousins, aunts, and uncles on the Lanceta and Dichoso side, his sister Courtney Lanceta Dichoso, maternal grandmother Sofia Lanceta, and parents Cleo and Cynthia Dichoso. Christian is preceded by his maternal grandfather Tomas Lanceta and paternal grandparents Romeo & Connie Dichoso.

His joyful spirit will be celebrated Saturday, November 10th at a 10 am funeral service at Cathedral of Assumption on 433 S Fifth Street. Visitation will be on Friday, November 9th from 2-8 pm at Ratterman’s Funeral Home on 12900 Shelbyville Road. Contributions in memory of Christian may be made to Campbell County Fraternal Order of Police at PO Box 72534, Newport, KY 41072, made payable to FOPA #10.
