CHRISTIAN SCOTT CARLSON, age 32 of Jemison, passed away suddenly on May 12, 2019 following an ATV accident. He was born in Jasper, AL on September 22, 1986; the son of Scott Edward Carlson and Lori Lee Held Carlson. Christian was employed for almost 13 years as an operator at Boise Cascade in Clanton.

He will always be remembered for his love of fishing and the outdoors. He loved to also play video games. He was a loving son, grandson, brother, and an uncle to his nieces and nephews who he loved so much.

He is survived by: Father, Scott Carlson of Jemison; Mother, Lori Carlson of Jemison; Brother, Lee (Amberly) Carlson of Jemison; Brother, Scotty (Ashley) Carlson of Jemison; Grandmother, Sarah Payne of McCalla; Grandfather, Allen Held of Brunswick, Maine; Nephews, Ryan and Mason Carlson; and Nieces, Hallie and Josie Carlson. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 6:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home of Clanton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
