Christine Kaolian, age 87, of Milford, passed away peacefully in her home on May 4, 2018. She was born on Sept. 14, 1930 in New York City, the only child of Erich and Olga Liebzeit Ernst.

She was an area resident most of her life. As a young girl, she grew up on a small family farm in Milford, sold newspapers on roller skates in downtown, and worked at GE on the bobbysocks assembly line. In 1951, she married Morgan Kaolian.

whom she met when they both worked at W.T. Grant. Later, Christine was a model for the renowned Milford artist Wendell Phillips Austin and had various advertising-related positions and helped Morgan with his endeavors. Christine was very family-oriented and selfless.

She is survived by her son Kit Kaolian of Milford; her former husband Morgan Kaolian of Lordship. A heart-felt thank you to her loving and caring home health aides Anfrieda King and Nicole Johnson. Friends may greet the family on Friday May 11, 2018 from 4 – 7 p.m. followed by a service at 7 p.m. officiated by Rev.

Untzag Nalbandian in the Armenian Church of the Holy Ascension, 1460 Huntington Turnpike Trumbull. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Armenian Church of the Holy Ascension.
