Chuck’s Obituary Charles “Chuck” Price, age 84, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, May 8, 2019, in a local assisted living facility. Mr. Price was born May 25, 1934, in Texarkana, Texas. Before retirement, he owned Price’s Golden Growers and Price’s Transport Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Polly “Doll” McGuffin and Leo Price. Survivors include one daughter, Teri Lynn Smith and her husband, Jeff of Rockwall, Texas; one son, David Price and his wife, Keri of Texarkana; six grandchildren, Andrew Simmons and his wife, Emilee, Amanda Marlen, Kelsi Rutledge, Kaylee Price, Connor Price and Madilyn Price; and three great-grandchildren, Emma, Grayson and Case. Mr. Price loved the outdoors.

He enjoyed fishing and working in his nursery and greenhouse that he owned for years. He also loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren with all his heart. Funeral services will be at 9:00 AM Saturday, May 11, 2019, at Chapelwood Funeral Home with Rev.

Scott Neathery officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-7:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
