OBITUARY Cindy Lee Fowler May 29, 1959 – January 21, 2019 Cindy was born in Gordonsville, Virginia May 29, 1959, to and preceded in death by her mother, Joan Josephine Melton and father, David Lee Melton of Stafford County. She resided in the Fredericksburg area for many years, survived by husband, Richard R. Fowler, Sr. and son, Kerry Lee Krohn and six grandchildren. Many know her sisters, the Melton girls, Debra Ball, Pam Chambers, Michelle Boutchyard and Cheryl Volz.

Also, their children are Mindy, Perry and Sara Ball, Amy Shelton, Tammy Dodson, Dawn and JoAnne Boutchyard, Justine Kinsella, Taylor Volz; as well as Richard’s sister, Susan Shimeld of Hamden, CT and niece, Tina DiBona of Milford, CT. In addition, an aunt and uncle, Shirley Cox of Orange, Jimmy May from KT and many more cousins. She not only adored her pets, but outside of home, she was joined by friends in celebrating a favorite pastime, sporting her many APA trophy wins, as an avid pool player.

Words cannot describe how much she gave of herself and all that knew her life, we all collectively shared something special with our beloved Cindy, taken too quickly from us on January 21st, 2019, at home, after battling lung cancer. She will be truly missed by her family and so, so many friends. Family & Friends will be received at Mullin’s and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, Virginia from 6-8PM Friday, January 25, and a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 26 at 2PM, 2019 with Reverend Davis officiating.
