Clara Bell Pike, 83 year old resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died on February 6, 2019 at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born on June 16, 1935 in Christie, Oklahoma, to Patrick Batson and Aggie Padgett Batson. Clara lived most of her life in Northeast Oklahoma or Northwest Arkansas, spending a few years out in California.

She graduated from UCLA Nursing School and worked as a nurse for Siloam Springs Regional Hospital for many years. In 1977, she married Harry Pike. Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; daughter, Sue Martin; three brothers, Clarence, Thomas, and Johnny; and sister, Marie Oxford.

She is survived by a daughter, Clara Ahrens and husband Gary of Stilwell, Oklahoma; son, Bill Summers and wife Sandra of San Antonio, Texas; nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; brother, Owen Batson and wife Kay; sister, Betty Fryer; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 11, 2019 at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs. Burial will follow the service at Johnson Cemetery in West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma.
