Claud Ferrell Middleton, age 69, of Franklin, Ohio, passed away, Sunday March 10, 2019 at Sycamore Medical Center. He was born in Streator, Illinois on May 29, 1949 to the late Orville and Beverley (Knapp) Middleton. Claud was an Advisor for Franklin Aggies 4-H Club, 4-H Shooting Sports Instructor.

He was part of the Emergency Medical Team at Vineyard Community Church. Claud was a Paramedic for 39 years and former member of the Franklin Emergency Squad. He worked at numerous private ambulance services and was a CPR/First Aid Instructor for 35 years.

Claud had a love for woodworking, carving and building things with his hands. He was always willing to help friends and strangers alike. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Barton Middleton. Claud is survived by his wife of 34 years Karen Middleton; three sons, Claud (Terri) Meyers, Marc A. Middleton, Matt (Bailie) A. Middleton; daughter, Leslie (Matthew) Young; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and brother, Milo Middleton. Celebration of Life will be on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 7:00pm at Vineyard Community Church, 4900 State Route 123, Franklin, Ohio with Pastor Chuck Wolfinbarger officiating.

Gathering of family and friends will be held prior to service from 4:00pm to 7:00pm also at the church. For those that cannot attend, the service will be available for viewing and live streamed at www. vineyardfranklin.com.
