Obituary for Clay L. Ryant Clay L. Ryant, 81, of Elyria, passed away April 11, 2018. Beloved husband of Lillian (Fischer); loving father of Jessica and Alex Ryant; dear grandfather of Aryanna; cherished brother of William (Elaine) Ryant, Ron (Barb) Ryant, Wayne Ryant, and sister in law Myra Ryant; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Mary (Hinsey) Ryant; and brothers Neil and Rick Ryant.

Clay was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a former Westlake auxiliary police officer and Service Department employee. Clay was a former recipient of the Westlake Man of the Year Award.

He was a member of the North Ridgeville American Legion. Clay enjoyed drawing and sketching. Clay was a loving father who cherished spending time with his beloved family and friends.
