Clayton Andrew Garvis 24, passed away unexpectedly on May 26, 2018 from a motorcycle accident that resulted in life ending injuries. He was born August 5, 1993 to Andy Garvis and Michelle Swann in Salt Lake City Utah. Clayton was blessed to have two sets of parents, Michelle and Jeff Bray and Andy Garvis and Cristiana Childs.

Clayton had the honor of having 18 siblings. He loved each of them with his whole heart. He had many friends at each stage of his life.

He was kind to everyone and stuck up for the kids that others bullied. It didn’t matter how many years went by without seeing old friends, he was always so excited for those reunions. Clayton had a very outgoing personality and was always making new friends and he was the life of the party because he wasn’t afraid to be himself.

Clayton loved to joke around and make people laugh, he wasn’t happy unless everyone in the room was enjoying themselves. He learned quick from his mistakes, and was even quicker to improve on himself as a human being in order to offer people the very best person he could be. Clayton was blessed to start a family with the love of his life Alex Summers; together they had 3 dogs, Milie, Tofer, and TJ.

They were the world to Clayton, as was Clayton to them. They had plans to get married and have kids of their own one day. Clayton had a love of being outdoors, in the winter you could find Clayton snowboarding and in the summer hiking, boating, or riding his motorcycle.

Clayton had a passion for cutting hair, and serving others. He was often found cutting hair at women’s shelters or for the homeless people on the street in his free time. He had a desire to make people smile and make their day just a little better.

As Clayton continued his career as a barber he had a great aspiration to become a cosmetologist so that he could make the women in his life look beautiful. Clayton was honored with his Cosmetology license posthumously May 29, 2018. Throughout Clayton’s entire life he had a strong desire to serve.

He was an organ donor and was ecstatic that in the loss of his life he could save others. Clayton saw beauty in everything around him, and was passionate about music, art, and writing. He kept journals of music lyrics and poetry.

Clayton loved being in the front row of a concert, or playing his guitar quietly in the corner for his own pleasure. When Clayton decided to do something he went all in, and because of that, he was a role model to many. Clayton is now on to his next great adventure and will be missed by all who know him and love him.
