Clifford Neal , January 12, 1947 — March 21, 2019

Clifford Neal was born on January 12, 1947, to Cleveland and Gracie Neal in Stringtown, Oklahoma. He was the third child out of ten siblings. Clifford is proceeded in death by His parents; three brothers Stafford, Terry, Joe; two sisters Marie.

Clifford departed life on Thursday, March 21, 2019. He was baptized at an early age and was a member of the Methodist faith. Clifford was raised amongst a close and loving family.

In 1964, Clifford graduated from Stringtown High School. Clifford served in the United States Army, Army Reserve, and the Air Force from 1965-1971. In 1972, he married Wilma Washington and this union flourished for many years.

To this union he became a father and took pride in raising four children. Clifford worked various jobs: Hallmark Cards, Kenwood Trucking Co. and for ten years, he worked as an assembly worker. He also worked for Walmart until his health began to fail.

He retired in 2017. In August of 2016, Clifford joined the Vision for Change Ministries under the leadership of Pastor, Constance Taylor. Often Clifford spoke about his Christianity and faith.

He was always willing to help others. Our “Cliff” was a devoted caregiver for his mother Gracie, which lasted for many years. Clifford was loved by many, and will be missed, by many.

Our beloved Clifford leaves to cherish his memory; three daughters Angela Washington, Kimberley Johnson and Diane Hairston; son Richard Washington all of Kansas City, Mo; a host of grandchildren; three brothers Mike Neal (Percetta) of Kansas City, Mo. , Ricky Neal (Melony) of Wiley, Texas, Chester Neal (Karen) of Plano, Texas and a sister Pat Jones of Sherman, Texas; two sisters-in-law Alberta Washington of Kansas City, Missouri and Lottie Neal of Atoka, Oklahoma and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends. Funeral Services will be held 12:00p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Memorial Church International 11424 Hickman Mills Drive KCMO.
