Eddie’s Obituary Eddie M. Kimbrough,70, passed away on March 26, 2019 at the home. He was born June 30, 1948 in Blytheville, Arkansas to Phillip Kimbrough and Eddie Mae Johnson. His parents; son, Morgan Cannon; brother, Wayne Johnson and sister, Eleanor Jean Johnson preceded him in death.

Eddie was educated in the public schools of Blytheville, Arkansas and attended Richard B. Harrison High School. He furthered his education at Arkansas AM&N – Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Eddie later moved to Kansas City where he would make his home for over forty-five years.

He was formerly employed as teacher and counselor in the KCMO School District. Eddie was united in marriage to Ms. Rose Davis on September 13, 1970 and to this union one daughter was born. He loved his family and also enjoyed singing, swimming and barbecuing.

He leaves to cherish his memory: one daughter, Tanya Smith (Curtis) of Cypress, TX; two sisters, Margaret Willis (Calvin) of Grandview, MO and Phyllis McLean of Dunn, NC; one grandson, Brandon Smith and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Memorial services next Thursday, April 4, 11:00 a.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors.
