FULLERTON–Clifford S. Koziol, 91, of Fullerton, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019, at Brookefield Park Skilled Nursing Center & Rehabilitation in St. Paul. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Fullerton with Reverend David Fulton officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Fullerton with military honors by Fullerton American Legion Post 151.

A rosary will be at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 5th at the church. Visitation will follow the rosary from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Clifford was born January 11, 1928 to Leo and Agnes (Gembica) Koziol at Osceola. He attended various country schools throughout his childhood.

Cliff served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After, he came home and farmed near Fullerton. He also worked other various jobs such as construction and harvesting.

He also took care of his parents until their passing. He lived with his brother, Eddie. Until Eddie’s passing in 2005, they enjoyed anything to do with the outdoors such as fishing, hunting, and traveling together.

He loved to tell stories and spend time with his nieces, nephews, and other family members. He enjoyed showing off his hunting trophies. He was proud of the fact he stayed a rancher until the day he passed.

He also loved playing his harmonica for everyone. He is survived by one sister, Evelyn Liss of Columbus; sister-in-law, Genevieve Koziol of Fullerton; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Benny, Frank, Thomas, Edward, and baby Leo; sisters, Cecilia (Don) Cheshier, Christine (Joe) Haberer, Elenor (Henry) Santin, and Monica (Darrell) Rork; and brother-in-law, Ray Liss.
