Clyde O. Kreher, 91, of New Athens, IL, died June 20, 2018, in Waterloo, IL. He was born November 7, 1926, in Paderborn, IL. He is survived by his wife Anna M. Kreher (nee Mueth); children Michael (Marcia) Kreher, Larry (Susan) Kreher, Carol (David) Alexander, Leon (fiancée Marcia) Kreher, Darlene (Mark) Kohler, Richard (Janet) Kreher, & James (Colleen) Kreher; grandchildren Brian (Erika) Kreher, Ryan (Beth) Kreher, Sarah (Mike) Kolweier, Jeff (Kiersten Jacobsen) Kreher, Scott (Loren) Kreher, Elizabeth Kreher, Jennifer (John) Luetkenhaus, Jackie Rogers, Megan (Mike) Rogers, Heather (Matt) Licata, Ashlee (Patrick Felling) Kreher, Brad Kreher, M. Eric (Sarah) Kohler, & Brett (Allysen Bush) Kohler, Steve Kreher, Laura Kreher, Amanda Kreher, Danielle (Joe) Crawford, Jake Venegonia, Vince Venegonia, Ben (Ashley) Venegonia, Katie (Andy) Cornish, & Erin Kreher; 27 great grandchildren; brother Joseph (Evelyn) Kreher; sisters Esther Eckart, Ruth Speichinger, & Estelle Mueth; sister-in-law Ethel Mae Kreher; nieces; nephews; & cousins.

Clyde is preceded in death by his parents Edward & Mathilda (nee Maurer) Kreher; sisters Cecelia (Arthur) Schaefer, Marie (John) Mueth, Ethel (Fred) Voegele, brother Bertram Kreher, granddaughters Jennifer Kreher and Alyssa Kreher. He is a member of St. Augustine Church, Knights of Columbus #1334, & Holy Name Society. Clyde married the love of his life Anna on September 7, 1949.

He demonstrated great love of family, immensely proud of his children and grandchildren. He was a fourth generation farmer of a German immigrant; his work ethic deeply inspired his family.
