Friendship — Collette Jean Herring of 86 W. Main Street died Tuesday, July 2, 2018 in Olean General Hospital. She was born on February 15, 1953 in Warsaw, a daughter of Neil and Lois Fitzgerald Paul. On November 17, 1970 she married Dana Herring who survives.

Collette was a former nurse’s aide at the Absolut at Houghton Nursing Home. Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are her children, Dana (Kim) Herring Jr. of South Carolina, Danny Herring, David Herring, Douglas Herring all of Friendship, four grandchildren, her brothers and sisters, Delores Davis of Eagle, Norman (Jennifer) Paul of Silver Springs, Wayne (Kathy) Paul of Rock Glen, Elaine Gayhart of Perry, Gordon Paul of Elmira, Brenda (Doug) George of North Java and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may gather from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N Genesee Street, Fillmore where a funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm.

Burial will be in West Clarksville Cemetery, West Clarksville.
