Connie J. Christianson, 76, of Beloit, WI, died Sunday, May 5, 2019 in her home after a long battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 2, 1942 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of John and Emma (Diece) Babb. Connie was a 1960 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School.

She married Burton Christianson on June 8, 1963 in Westside Presbyterian Church, Beloit, WI. Connie was formerly employed by Beloit Corporation, retiring in 1999. She enjoyed going to lunch with her high school girlfriends and organizing class reunions and get-togethers.

Connie was a member of the Rock County Cancer Coalition. She loved working in her flower garden, sewing, painting, and volunteering at the hospital. Connie also loved animals, especially dogs and cats but spending time with her family was most important to her.

Survivors include her husband, Burt Christianson of Beloit, WI; children, Christine (David) Erickson of Beloit, WI, Jeffrey (Ann) Christianson of Stoughton, WI, and Susan (Jamie) Campbell of Beloit, WI; grandchildren, Brooke (Lucas) Denson, Britnie (Alex) Gordillo, Travis Erickson, Myranda Erickson, Kelsey Christianson and Victor Christianson; great grandchildren, Carter Denson, Cori Denson, Elias Gordillo, Aubrey Gordillo and Emme Gordillo; uncle, James (Karen) Diece; nephew, John (Tammy) Hayden; nieces, Sherry Ainlee, Debra McClintock, Vicki (Richard) Wade, Sandra (Richard) Prowant, and Nancy (Sam) Nance; several great nieces and great nephews; in-laws, Merlin Christianson, Linda Beck, Donna Supuder, Shelia (Glen) Benson, Ronald (Diane) Christianson, David (Cheryl) Christianson, Daniel (Becky) Christianson, Colleen (Daniel) DeGarmo, Rhonda (Bill) Juntunen, Julie Seiler, Dennis (Cindy) Christianson, and Jerry Christianson. Connie’s family would like to thank Beloit Regional Hospice for their exceptional care and to our angels Jessica, Pam, Kara and Beth. She was predeceased by her parents, sister, Mary Lou Hayden and in-laws, Loren Christianson, Carol McDonald, Janet Erickson and Lonnie Christianson.

Funeral service for Connie will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2019 in Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1531 Townline Ave. , Beloit, WI, with Reverend Daniel C. Eddy, Pastor officiating. Inurnment will be in the Town of Turtle Columbarium at a later date.

Visitation of remembrance will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Friday in the church. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements. Memorials may be given in Connie’s name to the Rock County Cancer Coalition.
