She was born May 18, 1939 in Delphos to Paul and Pauline (Murray) Kill, who both preceded her in death. She had been married to Darrell Wieging.

Connie is survived by two sons, Scott (Cheri) Wieging of Shawnee, and David Wieging of New Albany and Sue Wieging of Gahanna; two daughters, Dawn (Wayne) Ledyard, and Shannon (Scott) Jackson, both of Delphos; three brothers, Ted Kill, Steve (Barb) Kill, and Tom (Michele) Kill; two sisters, Joyce (Bob) Wittler, and Jane (Bob) Thitoff; and ten grandchildren: Aaron, Tyler and Noah Ledyard, Courtney and Derek Wieging, Cole, Mac and Lily Wieging, Kennedy and Keaton Jackson. She was a 1957 graduate of Delphos St. John’s. She had worked at the Pizza Pantry in Delphos, Central Mutual Insurance in Van Wert, sold Avon, and finally was the evening secretary at the Delphos Herald, Inc. In the earlier years, she was a member of the Delphos Mother’s Club and the Delphos Lioness Club. She was also a member of the Delphos VFW and Eagles Aerie #471. She loved to crochet afghans and baby blankets, as well as read, listen to music, collect cookbooks, and attend Blue Jay sporting events.

She was known for her famous “Texas Sheet Cake”. One of her happiest moments was visiting Graceland to see where the “King” (Elvis) had been laid to rest. She also loved watching Lebron James play basketball no matter what time of the night the game was.
