Obituary for Constance Roberts Rama-Pydych Constance Roberts Rama-Pydych of Philadelphia PA died on November 1, 2018 peacefully at home. She was born June 11, 1935 in New York City and was a graduate of Lamar High School, Houston TX, Smith College ‘57 and received her MSW from U Penn Beloved for her unique style, beauty and keen intellect, Connie was a dedicated academic. She met her husband Charlie on the library steps of Amherst College.

Connie worked as a librarian, political campaign volunteer, and was a student of life. She was a member of the Lady Chapel Singers and had many close friends. Survived by her husband of 61 years, Charles P Pydych, and their three children, Charles, Madeleine and Anthony, and grandchildren Kendyll, Evan, Elizabeth, Ava, Adrian and Ben.

She was predeceased by her daughter Leslie (York, ME) and parents Thomas J Roberts and Daisy Rama Roberts, and twin sister Carol Roberts of Bryn Mawr, PA Funeral at St Mary’s Church-Hamilton Village on the U Penn campus on January 19, 2019. Internment at Church of the Redeemer, Bryn Mawr, PA. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
