Mrs. Cora Edwards, age 91 of Russellville, passed away on Friday, May 25th at her home of natural causes. She was born October 29, 1927 in Logan County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Chester T. and Mary Hudson Lunsford. She was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church in Springfield, Tennessee where she served on the Usher Board and was a mother of the church.

She loved singing, reading scriptures and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Charles T. Edwards and two sons Chester T. and Robert Eugene Edwards. She is survived by one brother William Lunsford of Springfield; two sisters Beulah Jean Ogburn and Frances T. Lunsford both of Springfield; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, June 2nd from 11:00 until funeral service time at 12:00 at the Fairview Baptist Church in Springfield, Tennessee with Pastor Kenneth Boards officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Springfield.
