Mr. Frank Edward Shumate, age 85 of Elkton, passed away on Wednesday, June 20th at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, Tennessee of natural causes. He was born February 27, 1933 in Todd County, Kentucky the son of the late John Shumate, Sr. and Beulah Harris Shumate. He was a member of New Life Pentecostal Church and a retired truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his wife Rebecca Shumate; six brothers; five sisters and a great grandson Easton Wade Griffin. He is survived by his son Ricky Shumate of Elkton; one daughter Vicki Wolfenbarger (Jim) of Elkton; two brothers John Shumate, Jr. of Elkton and Clyde Shumate of Paso Robles, California; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Visitation with the Shumate family will be on Monday from 12:00 until funeral service time at 2:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev.

Jimmy Dukes officiating. Interment will follow at Todd County Meadow Haven in Elkton.
